Tina + Wolf

Tina + Wolf is the alter ego of Kristina Sabaroedin. A graphic designer lost in the galaxy of shoes, she's also a dream catcher who loves moonlight picnics and dances like nobody's watching. Someday she will learn how to do the moonwalk.

I’ve been sick a lot lately and haven’t had the time or energy to do personal work. I started this one quite some time ago, and it’s still unfinished. I think I need a break since my creativity has been running low lately.

My partner thinks her hair looks like fairy floss. Nothing wrong with that.

Now that I’m a bit more confident with my vector skills, I decided to experiment further and see where it will take me. What I’m trying to achieve is a style that’s unique from the rest of the talented people out there whom I just can’t compete with.
This one’s called ‘The Last Polar Bear’. The woman is the grim reaper who sadly waits for the bear to eventually drown when his tiny iceberg melts.

An illustration based on a joke a friend made about sending a herd of unicorns as my imaginary birthday present. I decided to experiment with pure vector because I feel that I’m too concerned with styling, that I totally leave the narrative out of the picture. By using vector the style of the outcome is inevitable, and therefore I can concentrate with what I’d like the picture to say.

I was flipping through my old sketchbooks when I saw sketches of pensive girls with animal ears I did a few years back. I thought that I might continue adding more to the group, who knows maybe after ten years I’ll have enough girls to fill up an island.

A belated birthday illustration for my friend Anthia. Drawn by me, coloured by my other half who was inspired to help.

I got a rabbit recently which I call Mr Hoppy. He’s a small fuzzy thing and he sniffs everything he comes across with. Currently he likes to lick my feet.

I was trying to see how my new style would look like as product based illustration. By the way, I got a new job. Started last week. It’s at a small sized design studio with a shoebox sized work space, but quite cute really. Which also means now I have less time for drawing. Ahhh the eternal conundrum…

A sketch I did in the car one hot friday morning. I draw cigarette smoke a lot, must be from watching my significant other killing his lungs every day.
